Palmdale Housing Rights Workshop

The Housing Rights Center, in collaboration with the City of Palmdale, will be hosting a FREE Housing Rights Workshop for Palmdale residents, prospective residents and community members.

The Housing Rights Workshop seeks to inform and educate tenants on the federal and state fair housing laws, what is unlawful under the fair housing laws, and how to avoid housing discrimination. The workshop will also present an overview of basic landlord-tenant rights and responsibilities regarding rent increases, security deposits, evictions, notices, and more. 

Participants will have the opportunity to receive on-site counseling regarding housing discrimination and any housing related concerns. Participants are encouraged to bring guests.
